Mrs. Murphy & Sons Irish Bistro
(3905 N Lincoln) Our opening session/performance on Friday night will take place at this classic Irish pub. On Saturday, from 9:00-9:00, the expansive upstairs space will be transformed into a suite of activity centers, quiet writing spaces, social lounges, reading rooms, and more. Every nook and cranny of this beautiful space will be filled with inspiration, prompts, and surprises. Come and go as you please. There is ample room to spread out and have the experience you desire. Saturday lunch and dinner will be served from their award-winning menu.

Martyrs'
(3855 N Lincoln) This legendary music venue has been making magic since 1994. We consider its stage hallowed ground, and are thrilled to be hosting our another event with them. On Saturday, Martyrs' will be the site of presentations and workshops from 9:00-4:30. Come and go as you please, or stay for all of the sessions. On Sunday, we'll have our culminating event, The Un-Slam, during which we will draw attendee names and get as many people on stage for a story as possible. There will be no scoring, but we'll draw a name from everyone who shared, and that person will have their registration fee for the entire weekend refunded in full. After the Un-Slam, we'll have a big pizza party to close the weekend out by 2:00 PM.

Bughouse Theater
(1910 W Irving Park) This artist-owned and created theater is a true treasure of the North Center neighborhood, dedicated to the enrichment of the community through art and the enrichment of art through the community. We are honored to have the use of their lovely, welcoming space for the another Get-Together. On Saturday, Bughouse will be the site of a daylong open mic, from 9:00-5:30. Simply show up to the theater, write your name on the chalkboard, and when your name is called, you will have seven minutes to share anything you'd like, with zero pressure and 100% support.

Timber Lanes (1851 W Irving Park)
On Saturday night, we are renting out this historic Chicago bowling alley for the perfect ending to our day of hanging out together. Come bowl, play some tunes on the jukebox, have a drink/snacks, and relax for a few hours. Timber Lanes is as old school as it gets. We're talking pencil and paper for scoring. Where else can you bowl directly above a Prohibition-era smuggling tunnel, at a location that once served as a WWII helmet factory? Oh, and John Goodman was a regular visitor as he worked on his form for The Big Lebowski.
